6-Panel Construction: Six panels create a symmetrical, structured dome that distributes shape evenly across the crown. Structured: The 862's structured front uses NYCO ripstop fabric backed with internal stiffening to hold the front panel flat and firm through hard use. Unlike softer unstructured caps, this build maintains its shape under the demanding conditions, heat, moisture, and brush contact that tactical and outdoor buyers regularly encounter.

The 100% polyester mesh back maintains airflow during active wear, and the standard cotton sweatband manages moisture at the forehead.

Color: The 862 features Multicam Original camo on the front panels and pre-curved visor, paired with an American flag–patterned mesh back. This U.S. Army–licensed camouflage delivers reliable concealment across terrains, while the flag mesh adds a bold patriotic look, ideal for tactical use, military programs, and patriotic branding.

Special Features: The no-button crown removes the standard fabric-covered button from the top of the cap. The button, while a small structural component, creates a pressure point against the head when wearing earmuffs, headsets, or other ear protection at ranges or job sites.
